My two closest friends and roommates, Katie and Chelsea, started calling me Yogi after I was constantly referring to one of them as “Katie Boo” which eventually became “Boo Boo” or “Boo” for short. Because she was Boo Boo, someone had to be Yogi. The three of us became Boo Boo, Yogi and The Ranger. Though I tend to call Katie ,”Katie Boo” more than anything, and Chelsea has become “Beanie” (short for Chelly Bean), for some reason Yogi stuck with me.
It might have something to do with my insane love for baseball and the great Yogi Berra (even though he was a Yankee). Or it might have something to do with my crafty nature and ability to slyly get away with almost everything. But ever since then I have been Yogi. And I probably will be until the end.
